Our Core Values

Worship
Our chief purpose is to glorify God. Therefore, we will intentionally worship Him as a unified community of faith with all of who we are: mind, heart, and soul. Together we will remember God's goodness and bow before Him as willing servants of our Mighty King.
[ Matthew 22:37; Philippians 2:9-11; Psalm 149:1-4 ]

Biblical Authority
The Bible is God's word for His people. Therefore, we will strive to study and teach the Scriptures with integrity, relevance, and joy for the purpose of applying it to our lives. [ 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 7:24-27; Psalm 1 ]

People
People matter to God, and therefore people matter to us. God's love for humanity motivated Him to provide salvation for a needy world. As His followers, our church community will reach out to others in relevant ways, helping them grow into fully-developing followers of Jesus Christ.
[ John 3:16; Lk. 15; Gen. 1:26-28 ]

Transformation
Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ is all about change. Since God calls each of us to become more like Christ we will be intentional about yielding to Him by pursuing every means by which we can grow into His ideal for us.
[ Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 5:8-10; Colossians 1:28 ]

Grace
God's grace to us is the most radical form of love ever demonstrated. As recipients of His grace, we now seek to extend grace to others by embracing people where they are, loving them selflessly, and refusing to appeal to them on the basis of guilt or shame.
[ Ephesians 2:4-10; Romans 5:1-2; Colossians 4:5-6 ]

Dependency upon God
We are utterly dependent upon God for everything. Apart from Him we can do nothing. Therefore, we will prayerfully trust the Lord to do mighty things in and through us.
[ Hebrews 11:6; Deut. 30:20; John 15:5 ]

Servanthood
Jesus Christ lived a life of servanthood and calls those who follow Him to a life of service. As His servants, we will seek to humbly and intentionally meet the needs of those around us, wherever they may be.
[ Luke 22:24-27; Philippians 2:1-11; John 13:1-20 ]

Community
Authentic relationships are essential for believers to walk alongside of each other in this journey of life. In these relationships we'll encourage one another to press on towards God's best for our lives through graceful fellowship and challenging accountability.
[ John 13:34; Galatians 6:1-10; Hebrews 10:19-25 ]
